OK, So Juanita Bynum TYPES In TONGUES On Facebook

Pentecostal televangeslist, author and gospel singer, Juanita Bynum has been typing on Facebook in tongues, raising brows both within Christendom and beyond. Religious bloggers have jumped on this, choosing sides both pro and anti, the latter emphasising on scripture, which clearly states “speak” in tongues and not “write”.
There are two things I have managed to learn through years of Sunday School and my off-and-on relationship with sin. First, that God is not an author of confusion, and also that with Him all things are possible.

What do y’all think about this?

  1. Does writing in another “tongue” have to include poor grammar and excessive ellipses?

    • Well, in as much as I’d like to answer your question, I wouldn’t know. I don’t write tongues. But to be fair though, we’ve only heard tongues before now… This is one is on some other level only Juanita can explain

  2. That is just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous! My goodness, why would a servant of God court this kind of controversy for heavenssakes?!

  3. Nothing in Christianity surprises me. Only God knows those who are his, and we will know at the end of days.
