Beyonce shared a photo of her new Times Square billbaord on Tumblr and now it’s got folks buzzing that Countdown To Touchdown may be about more that just a halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII on Feb. 3, 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Rumour has it that Touchdown might be the name for her upcoming 5th studio album, but I’m going ahead to think what if Touchdown would be the Touchdown for Touchdown… Yea, maybe I have a wild imagination, but y’all Beys know to always expect the un-bey-lievable, right?
Y’all remember Bey backed out of a previously booked project with legendary filmmaker Clint Eastwood earlier in the month: a remake of a Star is Born for which she was set to take the lead role. The project was announced since January 2011 but after getting pregnant with baby Blue Ivy, filming was delayed, until Bey announced days back that the project wouldn’t ever be:

“I was looking forward to the production of ‘A Star Is Born’ and the opportunity to work with Clint Eastwood. For months we tried to coordinate our schedules to bring this remake to life but it was just not possible. Hopefully in the future we will get a chance to work together.”

What’s keeping from the movie project…? Your guess is as good as mine.
The only details known about the new album are possible industry vets Bey would work with including Diane Warren who wrote “I Was Here.”
“They’re great songs,” Warren said in August of the new tracks she wrote for the singer. “I think they’re on the level of ‘I Was Here’ and I’m really excited about that.”
And you’d think the Queen Bey would just have babies and look pretty…
