American Olympic Gold Medalist To Release “Inspirational” Memoir In December

American Olympic gold medalist Gabby Douglas has inked a two-book deal with publisher HarperCollins and her first title, Grace, Gold and Glory, My Leap of Faith, is scheduled to be released by December.
According to Douglas the book will be an inspirational account of how she overcame personal obstacles to achieve Olympic success.

“I want people to read my story and say, ‘If Gabby can do it, I can do it too. Anything is possible.
“The book will share how much my family and I have overcome during our journey. It hasn’t been easy,”
said Gabby who’d moved from her hometown of Virginia Beach to West Des Moines, Iowa, at age 14 to pursue her dreams to become a professional gymnast at Chow’s Gymnastics and Dance Institute, according to a Los Angeles Times report.
My thoughts: Gabby, honey, you are an inspiration to millions around the world already, and I don’t think writing a book would change that by much, so stop bullshit-ing us and go get that paper gal!
You is smart! You is relevant! You is important! *in Viola Davis’ voice* So go ahead and take full-advantage of the spotlight. Its on you honey *winks*
