PHOTO: 24 Year Old Nigerian Builds Helicopter From Scrap Parts

A 24-year-old Nigerian, Mubarak Muhammed Abdullahi, a physics undergraduate, has built a helicopter with parts from an old car, bike parts, and a crashed 747 plane.
The entire project took eight months, and Mubarak had built the yellow model seen in the picture above using money he made from repairing cell phones and computers to build this working helicopter.
This is completely AMAZING! The sad thing is that geniuses like this aren’t given the attention deserve here in the country, and the funding they need to take their innovations to the next level.
They’ve been a lot of very brilliant innovations like this by Nigerians in the past but they just get buzz for a few days, and finito!
People with abilities like Mubarak’s can’t go wrong anyway. If we don’t appreciate what we’ve got, some other people will.
