FaroukGate: ICPC Ready To Prosecute Lawan, Emenalo, After Police Give “Water-Tight” Report

The ICPC and the Nigerian Police Force over the past few weeks have been like two junkies in a strange town. How the hell don’t they know under who’s jurisdiction it falls to prosecute these thieving asses (beg your pardon) when the last time I checked we had a written constitution.
Well its been reported that the NPF has completed their investigations, and sent their findings to the Attorney General of the Federation (the moderator here) awaiting directives from his office on what the next step is, but this is clearly a case in ICPC (Independent Corrupt Practices and other- related offences) jurisdiction to prosecute, and I really don’t know why it look so long.
The process does raise eyebrows about the transparency of these investigations, but the ICPC is expected to file charges against the accused persons soon after receiving what sources in the NPF have described as a “water-tight report”.
We definitely want to see some water-tight prosecution, and in due course some water-tight prisons.
