The Nigerian Police in Lagos State has arrested three people including a naval officer, in connection with 8, 450 live cartridges of ammunitions been smuggled into Lagos, after the surveillance team of Trade Fair Division, under Area ‘E’ Command had intercepted a Volkswagen bus loaded with goods from Seme border at the Trade Fair Complex, and discovered that over 8,450 live cartridges were concealed inside cartons of T-shirts.
Now I’m wondering what manner of punishment would be meted out to criminals like this if traffic violators in Lagos get a 3 year prison sentence…
